On the 18th and 19th of October 2023 trainings were given to the selected onion demo farmers in Pabna and Faridpur for the 2023-2024 season. Some demo farmers also participated last year and some are newly selected farmers. The farmers received training on recommended onion cultivation and GAP.
At the end of the training onion seeds were provided to the farmers free of charge by Lal Teer and Bejo Seeds. In addition, MOU’s were signed between the demo farmers of Faridpur and Giant Agro regarding the offtake.
